Millenium Park – Pritzker Pavillion
Sara and I stand in the middle of the lawn in Pritzker Pavillion. She is wearing a cape and I am wearing reddish clothing. We hug. They are a few people around, sitting on the grass listening to music. After a while people begin to look at us strangely when they realize we are doing something out of the ordinary. No one comes up to speak to us. No one takes a flyer, held down by our shoes. Is this a performance? I wonder. What elements need to be in place for it to be a performance? One thing is certain. It feels wonderful to hug. This is something I could and would like to do all the time.
