“I want to hug everyone that was there all at once, here, while hugging you.”
I noticed my hugging at the wedding, the feeling of so many hugs, and shared space, touch, and memories. Collective, sensory memories. Of sights, of smells, of sound and feeling.
These are memories I want to foster, create, embellish. To create the space first in our hearts; resting together for this time, this time continued, cherished. Its effects spill over. And over.
Hug, a gift
for all, for every
full breath together
hug in stark contrast,
surrounded by love.
