Hug #14

October 5, 2010

Thursday, September 30 4:30-5:30 pm
Michigan and Jackson (park at SE corner)

Haikus about hugging

A cool breeze passes
Red arms wrapped around each other
We have goosebump legs

Some strange strange strangers
Stop stare say hello hi
Autumn encounter

Hovering statue
Statues down below sinking
The earth pushes back

Tree roots reaching down
Cirrus clouds in a grey sky
Growing together

A hug from the past
Like leaves drifting around bodies
Sense repetition

Internal landscape
Vast plains stretching on and on
Blood flowing as stream

Curiosities
Flickering bright among concrete
Familiar surprise

Humble offering
Two heads, four arms, and twenty digits
Silence and stillness

SHOES
