Wacker Drive and Michigan Ave.

Rain.

Aurora with Hug and Umbrella

Aurora with Hug and Umbrella

Aurora bikes, but brings her umbrella.

It’s big and beige. We hover in from the expanse of the street corner, in front of a window, just outside a set of glass doors. It really starts to pour.

I like watching people in the rain.

Their movements, gestures, expressions. Moving fast, running for cover. Or some, with their chins to the wind, briskly moving through it, or better yet, standing still with bags over their bodies. And it seems so poetic to me now, but it was very still, this hug. My body, my brain. We were more quiet, less chatty, breathing together. Wearing yellow. We were the bit of sunshine in that rain. And this lovely lady, she came and hugged us–the rain had slowed–and asked to take our picture, and so we have these to share. Thank you lovely lady!

How do we look in yellow?

You are sunshine, itself: bright sparkling sunshine! Certainly, yellow is the color of spring and when spring rains make the day out to be gray, we are the sunshine – you are the sunshine. XOXO

    You’re welcome!
Only wish I had used my camera instead of my phone for my pix so I could post them too!
You look great in yellow. Happy Spring!
